MPL MY/SG Season 2: The Rise of Legends Brought To You by Moonton & eGG Network!

The Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) has become one of the top mobile eSports tournaments and events in Malaysia. Moonton and eGG Network are proud to present MPL Season 2: The Rise of Legends that will begin with 3 online qualifiers throughout 22nd June to 8th July.

Teams who make it to the top can make a name for themselves as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Facebook will broadcast selected matches of the online qualifiers, all matches throughout the Regular Season, culminating in an on-ground Grand Finals event.

There will be a maximum of 523 teams per qualifier, where only six teams will enter the Regular Season. There will be no prizes during this stage.

The schedule of the qualifiers are as follows:

• Malaysia Qualifier 1 (22nd – 24th June): The Top 2 teams will proceed to the Regular Season
• Malaysia Qualifier 2 (29th June – 1st July): The Top 2 teams will proceed to the Regular Season
• Singapore Qualifier (7th – 8th July): The Champion will proceed to the Regular Season

The 3rd placing teams from Malaysia Qualifier 1 and 2 will play against each other. The winner will proceed to the Regular Season. Matches for the final 16 teams of each qualifier will be a best of 3, while all other rounds are best of 1.

The top four teams from MPL/SG Season 1 who will proceed to the Regular Season are:

• Bigetron E-sports (formerly IDNS SG)
• Flash Tyrants
• AirAsia Saiyan
• Mystic Burden

MysteriousAssassin (4th place) had undergone a major roster shuffle, allowing Mystic Burden (5th place) to take their slot. The Regular Season format has also been updated where the 10 teams will play each other in a round robin format with best of 3 matches.

Teams who win 2-0 in a best of three will win $600 USD, while a 2:1 result will see the money split to $400 USD:$200 USD between the two teams. Players and fans stand a chance to win a share of the prize money too throughout the Regular Season.
