Kaizen Game Works has lifted the curtain on the impressive voice cast for their upcoming game, Promise Mascot Agency, blending a stellar lineup of gaming and anime industry icons. Leading the cast is Takaya Kuroda, renowned for his role as Kazuma Kiryu in the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series, voicing the protagonist, Michi, a disgraced yakuza navigating a new life as a mascot agency manager.
In a surprising turn, former PlayStation president Shuhei Yoshida makes his voice acting debut as MonouGe, a kappa mascot with a passion for gaming. Yoshida’s transition from corporate leadership to voice acting marks an unexpected yet exciting addition, especially for fans familiar with his legacy in the gaming industry.
Joining the lineup are Ayano Shibuya (known for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom) as Pinky, Michi’s finger-shaped mascot assistant, and Eri Saito (Chainsaw Man) as Matriarch Shimazu. Rounding out the cast is Hidetaka “Swery” Suehiro, the creator of Deadly Premonition, portraying a reformed ex-biker priest, adding another layer of intrigue to the game’s diverse narrative.
