Rakuten Games of Japan has announced that it will be developing a Wake Up, Girls! web browser game which is scheduled for release in summer 2018.
Going by the working title Wake Up Girls!, Shinsei no Tenshi, we are looking at a Live 2D idol rhythm game in which players take on the role of producer who has to take the girls to the very top. The game runs concurrently with the TV anime series but will feature complementing story points.
You will be able to prove your mettle as producer by competing against other players in the rankings, so the goal is not just to make your girls successful but also become the best in Japan.
