Rating(s):
- S Tier – These characters are some of the best in the game, and generally excel at fulfilling their role in most scenarios and are highly recommended to build.
- A Tier – Excellent batch of characters, only falling slightly behind the S-tier units, and can play well in most content.
- B Tier – Still worth the investment and can be pretty solid in certain teams or circumstances.
- C Tier – Situational. May not be worth the investment due to limited usage.
- D Tier – Very situational. Not recommended unless under a specific scenario.
S Tier | |
Hero | One of the best characters thanks to their exclusive equipment and diverse spell pool. They also get powerful exclusive spells like Kazap and Omniheal. |
Martial Artist | Have the potential to have the highest damage output in the game since they get an increased crit rate at higher levels. They're also great defensively, and can even surpass the Warrior depending on what armor you have available. |
Thief | Best class when it comes to farming since they can give extra monster drops at the end of combat. This makes them amazing for farming items from monsters, especially stat seeds. |
Sage | Best class in the game since they learn the spell list of both the Mage and the Priest. |
A Tier | |
Warrior | Warriors are considered to be the best defensive class when equipped with the best armor, but are often lacking in damage since you'd rather give their best weapons to someone else. |
Mage | Mages are offensive powerhouses but lack the defenses to keep them safe. |
Priest | They're one of the best candidates to become a Sage so they can also get the offensive spells of a Mage. |
Monster Wrangler | Monster Wrangler specializes in dishing out AoE attacks that can target multiple enemies. |
B Tier | |
Merchant | great for farming gold but are weak when compared to the other combat-oriented characters. |
C Tier | |
Gadabout | Gadabouts are by far the worst class in the game since they don't follow your commands in battle and they have horrendous stats outside of Luck. |
