Team Myth Avenue Gaming (MAG) and Team Unsigned5 have emerged victorious at the Malaysia Qualifier Finals, earning their spots to represent Malaysia in the upcoming APAC Predator League 2025.
MAG dominated the Dota 2 competition with commanding performances, securing a flawless 2-0 victory in the semi-finals before completing a clean 3-0 sweep in the finals. Meanwhile, Team Unsigned5 proved their mettle in the VALORANT tournament, claiming their own championship title. The organizers awarded both champions prizes valued at over RM20,000 each, including RM10,000 in cash and Predator merchandise worth more than RM11,000.
Adding to Malaysia’s strong presence in the upcoming regional tournament, Grills Gaming, the country’s premier women’s Dota 2 team, has received a direct invitation to compete in the APAC Predator League 2025. The regional tournament is scheduled for January 11-12, 2025, in Kuala Lumpur, where champions from 13 other regions will gather to compete. The event promises a festival-like atmosphere for the esports community.
In celebration of the tournament, Acer Malaysia has unveiled a special Predator music video featuring acclaimed Malaysian artist Aina Abdul. The multi-award winning songstress, who performed and sang the localized lyrics, will headline the entertainment lineup at the regional tournament alongside other superstar performers.
