As Horizon Walker prepares for its English language release on Korean servers this November, we’ve prepared a tier list to help both new players and experienced tacticians navigate their team-building decisions. Originally launched in Korea in August 2024 by Gentlemaniac, a studio formed by former Last Origin developers, this turn-based RPG is now expanding its reach to a global audience.
While players should note that the Horizon Walker English localization is still in beta phase, this tier list will serve as a valuable resource for understanding character rankings and optimizing team compositions. Adding to the excitement, players can preserve their progress by linking their Google accounts, allowing for seamless data transfer from the Korean version.
The criteria for each ranking are as follows:
Rating(s):
- S Tier – These characters are some of the best in the game, and generally excel at fulfilling their role in most scenarios and are highly recommended to build.
- A Tier – Excellent batch of characters, only falling slightly behind the S-tier units, and can play well in most content.
- B Tier – Still worth the investment and can be pretty solid in certain teams or circumstances.
- C Tier – Situational. May not be worth the investment due to limited usage.
- D Tier – Very situational. Not recommended unless under a specific scenario.
