ASUS Malaysia has announced two new additions to their laptop lineup – the ExpertBook P1 series and the ExpertBook P5, launching today in Malaysia. While ASUS primarily targets these devices at business professionals, they pack features that could interest tech enthusiasts and content creators.
The ExpertBook P1 series, available in 14-inch and 15-inch variants, comes equipped with 13th Gen Intel Core i7 processors and supports up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM. Starting at RM3,799, these laptops feature military-grade durability (MIL-STD-810H) while maintaining a lightweight profile at just 1.45 kg.
The more premium ExpertBook P5 showcases ASUS’s latest technology, powered by Intel’s new Core Ultra processor (Series 2) with up to 47 NPU TOPS, delivering 3X AI performance improvement over its predecessor. The P5 features a 2.5K 144Hz display in an all-aluminum chassis weighing only 1.27 kg, and is priced at RM6,859.
Both laptops introduce ASUS AI ExpertMeet, an AI-powered tool that provides real-time translation, speaker identification, and meeting transcription capabilities. Security features include TPM 2.0, Windows Secured-core PC compliance, and a complimentary 3-year McAfee+ Premium membership.
