Horizon Walker is a turn-based RPG developed by Gentlemaniac, a Korean game studio founded by developers who previously worked on Last Origin, another popular gacha game known for its fanservice elements. Originally launched in Korea in August 2024, Horizon Walker is now gearing up for an English version, which will begin its global beta test on November 7, 2024.
While this release will be utilizing the same Korean servers as the original game, the English version will simply add an English language option for players. The developers have announced this information through their official Discord channel, noting that players might encounter a few rough edges in the translation. To give players a glimpse of what to expect in the English version, Gentlemaniac also released a preview clip.
One of the most appealing aspects of the beta test is that players’ progress will be preserved. If players link their Google accounts, they can carry over their game data from the Korean version, making this launch feel more like a soft release than a traditional beta.
To celebrate the beta test, players will receive launch rewards that include 200,000 credits and ten FairyNet Multi-search tickets, guaranteeing at least one EX-rank item from the searches. Players can check out the game on the Google Play Store to prepare for the beta.
