Toei Animation has unveiled plans for a special music video commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Digimon Adventure anime series. Previously, Toei Animation announced Digimon Adventure -BEYOND- at New York Comic Con 2024 and will release it in March 2025 at DIGIMON CON, culminating the franchise’s anniversary celebrations.
The music video promises to showcase the original DigiDestined characters as they mature, offering fans a glimpse into the lives of Taichi, Yamato, and their companions as adults. Set to the iconic “brave heart” theme, the video will feature all-new animation, bridging the gap between the characters’ past adventures and their grown-up selves.
Leading the project is Hiroyuki Kakudo, the director behind the original Digimon Adventure and Digimon Adventure 02 series. Kakudo has drawn the key visual for the music video, while character designer Rie Nishimura, known for her work as chief animation director on the recent Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning film, has crafted the adult character designs for Taichi and Yamato.
