Rockstar Games has officially revealed the pricing for the long-awaited PC version of Red Dead Redemption, setting it at a price of $49.99 across all digital storefronts. The game is now available for pre-order on Steam, Epic Games Store, and Rockstar’s launcher.
The package includes the complete single-player campaign, the Undead Nightmare expansion, and additional content from the Game of the Year Edition. However, multiplayer features will not be included in this release.
Developed by Double Eleven, the studio behind the recent PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch ports, this PC version arrives 14 years after the game’s original 2010 release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The port will feature several PC-specific enhancements, including native 4K resolution support with refresh rates up to 144hz, compatibility with ultrawide (21:9) and super ultrawide (32:9) monitors, and full keyboard and mouse controls.
Technical improvements include support for modern upscaling technologies such as Nvidia DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.0, along with Nvidia DLSS Frame Generation. Players will also have access to various graphics settings, including adjustable draw distances and shadow quality options.
The PC release price reveal of Red Dead Redemption comes following months of speculation, particularly after an error on the PlayStation Store in August incorrectly stated the game was already available on PC. Prior to the official announcement, dataminers had discovered evidence of the port’s development through Rockstar’s website. Rockstar will launch the game on October 29, giving PC players their first official access to this acclaimed Western action-adventure title.
