gamescom asia 2024: A Gaming Extravaganza Returns to Singapore

The premier video game event for the Asia Pacific region, gamescom asia, will make its highly anticipated return to Singapore this October 2024. The event, scheduled for October 17 to 20, at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, is expected to draw over 150 exhibitors and 40,000 visitors from across Asia Pacific and beyond.

This year’s event promises an expanded experience for both industry professionals and gaming enthusiasts. The Entertainment Area will feature several highlights, including a “Ready to Play” area, live entertainment, official merchandise, and a Meet & Greet Zone for fans to interact with their favorite gaming personalities.

For industry professionals, the Business Area will offer valuable networking and learning opportunities. A pitch competition will showcase upcoming talents, while the Trade Conference will feature over 70 speakers across two days, covering three distinct tracks. In addition, this segment aims to provide insights from some of the best minds in the global gaming industry.

In an exciting development for indie game enthusiasts, the indie area has doubled in size compared to the previous year. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore over 50 indie games from developers representing more than 20 countries, highlighting the growing diversity and creativity in the independent game development scene.

Additionally, gamescom asia 2024 will host the Capcom Pro Tour Super Premier Singapore event. This high-stakes tournament will see top players competing for glory, with the top two finishers securing coveted spots at CAPCOM CUP 11.

Adding to the excitement, Gamescom Asia 2024 will feature a Stamp Rally Lucky Draw for Entertainment Area ticket holders. Participants who visit all six designated booths and collect stamps will have a chance to win prizes including a PlayStation 5 console, a Martiangear Astronaut Gaming Chair, a Sharp Aquos sense8 mobile phone, and a gaming peripheral set featuring high-end products from HyperX, Logitech, and VARMILO.
