PM Studios has revealed plans to release a physical “Trailblazer Edition” of the popular free-to-play turn-based RPG Honkai: Star Rail for the PS5. This edition, priced at $39.99, will offer fans a tangible version of the game along with several exclusive collectibles.
The Trailblazer Edition includes:
- A physical game disc and disc cover
- A gilded holographic character nine-card set
- Two exclusive holographic Chibi Trailblazer key chains
- An exclusive postcard
- A game redemption code with exclusive in-game items
This announcement comes as a notable development for the game, which has been available digitally on multiple platforms. Honkai: Star Rail can currently be played on PS5, PC (via client download and Epic Games Store), iOS devices through the App Store, and Android devices via Google Play.
As of now, PM Studios has not announced any plans for similar physical releases on other platforms. We will see whether PM Studios will offer the PS5 Trailblazer Edition as a limited run or if they will stock it regularly.
Major retailers, including Best Buy, have confirmed the availability of the physical edition through their listings.
