Infinix, a tech brand targeting young consumers, has launched its latest smartphone, the ZERO 40 5G, in Malaysia. This new model boasts features specifically designed for vlogging enthusiasts and content creators.
The ZERO 40 5G stands out with its 50MP Ultra-Wide front and rear cameras, capable of 4K video recording at 60 frames per second. It also includes ProStable video capabilities and is the first smartphone to offer seamless GoPro connectivity. Weiqi Nie, Product Director at Infinix, emphasized the company’s focus on developing camera features for vlogging, stating their goal is to “elevate smartphone video recording to pro-level quality.”

For vloggers, the ZERO 40 5G offers a Vlog Mode for easy content creation and a one-tap share feature for quick posting to social platforms. The device’s partnership with GoPro allows users to control GoPro devices directly from the phone. Performance-wise, the ZERO 40 5G is powered by the D8200 Ultimate 5G Processor and includes a 5000mAh battery with fast charging capabilities. It also supports 20W wireless fast charging and 10W wired reverse charging.
The smartphone incorporates AI features, including an AI Assistant powered by Google Gemini, AI-generated wallpapers, and AI audio noise reduction. Other smart features include JBL Joint Tuning for audio, an IR Remote Control, and NFC wallet functionality.
The Infinix ZERO 40 5G is now available in Malaysia, priced at RM1,699 for the 12GB+256GB variant. It comes in three colors: Violet Garden, Moving Titanium, and Rock Black.
