On a recent livestream showcasing the new major event in Girls Frontline 2, there seems to be a mini game that reminds players of NIKKE as the gameplay is similar to it.
Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium is the sequel to the popular tactical RPG Girls’ Frontline. The game is set in a dystopian future where players command T-Dolls (Tactical Dolls) in combat missions.
Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium builds upon the tactical RPG foundation of the original Girls’ Frontline while introducing a range of new gameplay mechanics and features that offer a more immersive and strategic experience. Players command squads of T-Dolls in turn-based combat and each T-Doll has unique abilities, weapons, and roles, which players must strategically utilize to overcome enemy forces.
Whereas Goddess of Victory: NIKKE is a third-person, cover-based shooter RPG where players command a squad of powerful female characters known as “NIKKEs.” The gameplay involves taking cover, aiming, and shooting at enemies in real-time while managing the unique skills and abilities of each NIKKE.
The Aphelion event will be going live on September 3, 2024 in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium but the NIKKE-style mini game does not have an official start date as of yet.
