The First Berserker: Khazan Launches in Early 2025, Closed Beta Set for October

Nexon and developer Neople have announced that their action RPG title The First Berserker: Khazan will be launching for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam in early 2025. Ahead of the full release of The First Berserker: Khazan, there will be a closed beta test for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions of the game from October 11 to 20, 2024

In addition to the release and beta news, Nexon and Neople have also unveiled a new gameplay trailer for “The First Berserker: Khazan.” The trailer showcases the game’s intense battle scenes and compelling storyline, allowing players to dive into the past of the protagonist, Khazan. Players will face off against formidable foes like the Blade Phantom in a unique 3D cel-animated visual style.

The trailer also reveals new gameplay mechanics, including the ability to wield a Spear and Greatsword, which will offer diverse combat options and patterns for players to master.

Those eager to experience The First Berserker: Khazan firsthand will have the opportunity to do so at Gamescom 2024, which takes place from August 21 to 25 in Cologne, Germany. The game will have a public hands-on demo available at the Nexon and Neople booth, located at 9.1 Hall B-029.

During the gamescom 2024 demo, players will be able to explore the game’s compelling story, where they’ll take on the role of a forgotten hero seeking vengeance against those who have defamed and opposed them. The demo will also showcase the title’s hardcore action combat, which evolves in style and tempo as players progress, as well as the immersive 3D cel-animated graphics that bring the dark fantasy world of Khazan to life.
