Zenless Zone Zero Set to Launch Version 1.1 on August 14

HoYoverse’s urban fantasy ARPG, Zenless Zone Zero, is preparing to release its Version 1.1 update, titled “Undercover R&B,” on August 14, 2024. This update brings new content and features to the post-apocalyptic world of New Eridu, offering players fresh challenges and storylines to explore. Additionally, the update introduces a Special Episode that delves deeper into the workings of the New Eridu Public Security and their ongoing conflict with the criminal Mountain Lion Gang.

Version 1.1 also expands the roster of playable characters. Qingyi, an S-Rank Electric Stun character, will be available to join players’ squads, bringing her unique combat abilities to the team. Jane, an S-Rank Physical Anomaly Agent, will initially appear as an enemy, adding an interesting dynamic to the gameplay. Seth, an A-Rank Electric Defense character, rounds out the new additions to the player’s potential team.

Additionally, a new S-Rank Bangboo named Officer Cui will be introduced to assist players in the Hollows.

The update introduces a new gameplay mode called “Inferno Reap” within Hollow Zero. Furthermore, this mode will feature battles with the character Nineveh, offering players a fresh combat experience and the chance to test their skills in a new setting. To complement this, the New Eridu Public Security area at Lumina Square will become accessible, expanding the game world and providing new areas for players to explore. The developers have also focused on quality-of-life improvements, including enhanced camera functions.
