Akatsuki Games and Too Kyo Games have announced a PC closed beta test for their upcoming extreme action RPG, TRIBE NINE. Dubbed the “Deadly Test,” this PC beta will run from August 9 to August 15, 2024, via Steam.
The test period will begin at 15:00 JST on August 9 and conclude at 23:59 JST on August 15. Interested players can register for a chance to participate until July 31 at 23:59 JST. Selected participants will be notified in early August.
The beta version will support multiple languages, including English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. While the game’s audio will be in Japanese, the test aims to gather feedback from a global audience.
In addition to the beta test, Akatsuki Games has launched a video creators program. Akatsuki Games have invited content creators to submit review videos of their TRIBE NINE “Deadly Test” experience for a chance to win gift card prizes. The video submission period will run from August 9 to August 30, with rewards varying based on view counts and video format (standard YouTube videos or Shorts).
The developers describe TRIBE NINE as an extreme action RPG where groups of teens overcome challenges and devise strategies to defeat powerful opponents. The game is a collaborative project between Akatsuki Games and Too Kyo Games, featuring creators from the popular Danganronpa series.
While Akatsuki Games will release the closed beta exclusively on PC via Steam, they plan to launch the full version of TRIBE NINE on PC and mobil on both iOS, and Android. However, the developers have not yet announced an official release date. Interested players can find more information and sign up for the beta test on the official TRIBE NINE website.
