The official X account of Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) has posted a tweet on future updates regarding the game and laid out on what’s going to come in version 1.1 and 1.2.
It hasn’t even been a month since ZZZ’s release and its popularity is bound to increase with what HoYoverse plans to implement in the future versions including making agents usable in City Exploration instead of the main characters: Belle and Wise.

The developers are focusing on making New Eridu more vibrant and immersive, responding to player feedback. Key improvements include enhancing the HDD TV mode and combat experience, adding diverse combat options, and optimizing repetitive exploration tasks.
Expected Optimizations
Here’s what they have planned for version 1.1 implementations:
- New story missions allowing interactions within New Eridu’s neighborhoods.
- Addition of a “Manual Chain Attack” mode and “Cancel Chain Attack Combo” function.
- New challenging combat missions and continuously updated game modes.
- Improved display of enemies’ attribute resistances in Shiyu Defense.
- Automatic unlocking of Inter-Knot avatars after unlocking new Agents.
- Customizable UI buttons on mobile devices for better control customization.
Expected optimizations in Version 1.2 include:
- “Fairy Assistance” feature for uncollected rewards from completed Story and Exploration Commissions.
- Enhanced “Monitor Array” exploration with uninterrupted and faster playback.
- New “Preset Lineup” feature for customizing battle commissions.
- Adjusted entrance for Agent Training and added repeatable combat stages.
- Feature to change in-game time after reaching a certain Inter-Knot level.
- Background brightness optimization based on player feedback.
Lastly, they have also shared on expected implementations in future versions of ZZZ.
- Agents being usable outside of combat purposes.
- Improvement of current models for characters.
- Interface and Combat UI optimization.
These updates sums up just a part of the optimization plans for Zenless Zone Zero. The developers will continue to introduce more engaging and challenging combat elements while adjusting the balance across different game modes as mentioned at the end of the tweet.
