Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that they will replace the Japanese Final Fantasy 7 (FFVII) Rebirth discs with printing errors. FFVII Rebirth includes both a Play Disc and a Data Disc. In the original Japanese release and in discs distributed across various East and Southeast Asian countries, there was a printing error where the content of each disc did not correspond correctly to its label. Following the replacement process, the disc labels will accurately reflect their contents.
The deadline to submit the application form for exchanging the FFVII Rebirth Japanese discs with printing errors is August 16, 2024.
The acceptance period for disc replacements will be open from July 12, 2024, to September 30, 2024. Applicants should enclose the disc in a paper bag or similar packaging and send it to the designated address provided on the Japanese information website for SIE PlayStation Customer Support Disc Replacement Head. FFVII Rebirth is an action role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix. Furthermore, it is the second game in a planned trilogy of games remaking the 1997 PlayStation game Final Fantasy VII.
