Eastasiasoft announced that they will release dungeon RPG Tokyo Clanpool for PC via Steam and Switch in 2024. The game initially launched on the Playstation Vita in October 2017. And was developed by Compile Heart, best known for creating the Hyperdimension Neptunia series, which has been around for over a decade.
The publisher announced that they will localize the game in English and Traditional Chinese for the first time, and it will be available for preorder soon. Additionally, the publisher will produce only 3,000 Limited Editions, which will include the game, manual, soundtrack CD, art book, sticker sheet, poster, and a numbered certificate in a collector’s box.
Tokyo Clanpool is a dungeon RPG where you lead a group of heroines deep into a tower to battle monsters and uncover its secrets. Customize characters with Digiskins to enhance skills while exploring maze-like corridors in first-person view. Engage in fast and strategic turn-based combat, using ether-based powers to float or dig tunnels, altering dungeon layouts as you progress.
Set in a near-future Tokyo, Tokyo Clanpool unfolds after the collapse of the government due to the appearance of a towering structure from the enigmatic Reverse City, linking to the National Diet Building. As monsters threaten Japan, Prime Minister Natsume Kannuki and her team of Diet Dolls must lead the charge in defending their nation.
Furthermore, players must manage their citizens’ approval ratings; favorable actions yield valuable bonuses, while a decline in support could lead to the resignation of the entire cabinet. Tokyo Clanpool challenges players not only with its gameplay mechanics but also with the complexities of governance.
