NetEase’s battle-royale MOBA – Island Strikers now live!

Remember Island Strikers (孤岛先锋), the mobile game that combines battle-royale and MOBA elements that we reported last February? The game has now entered its open beta phase in China, which means you can already enjoy the game as much as you want!

Just like all the battle-royale games out there, you start a match by parachuting to a huge map. You will search for resources from the moment you landed, then fight to be the last one standing among the 100 players. Interestingly, Island Strikers allow you to view the game from 2.5D perspective.

A vast variety of weapons ranging from Axe, Bow, Flamethrower to Rocket launcher are available in every match. You can also pick up and deploy items such as Grenade or Traps during the match. Familiar skills from MOBA games such as Heal, Sprint and Blink are featured too, where you can choose to bring any of them within the match depends on the situation.
