Goddess of Victory: NIKKE Summer Event Gets Its Ladies into Beautiful Swimsuits & Dave the Diver Collab 

The summer heat is arriving soon and another massive event is coming to Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, giving the beautiful ladies some spicy swimsuits for fashion photoshoots as well as a collaboration with the hit game Dave the Diver.

In preparation for the summer, a Special Summer Livestream aired with details regarding what to expect in the next update for Goddess of Victory: NIKKE. Without further ado, let’s see what you can expect when the next update comes live on July 4, 2024.

First, as with every event, we will be getting a limited-time story. This time, 2 of the 3 Underworld Queen Squad – Rosanna and Sakura will find themselves going up to the surface for some beach bikini photoshoot at Mustang’s request. Thank you, Mustang.

Both characters will be getting limited swimsuit variants in this event, available via recruitment only during the event period.

Limited Nikke variants aside, other characters will also be getting alluring new costumes. There will be 3 new costumes for 3 other Nikkes.

The first one is the Gacha Costume for Viper called “Shine of Love”, which will come with a special Burst animation. Aside from a new sexy outfit, you can also unlock character-exclusive episodes and live wallpaper of Viper after the update.

The other 2 swimsuits are for Maiden and Guilty, available via passes. Guilty’s swimsuit will be available via the Watermelon Pass, while Maiden’s bikini will be available in the July Premium Missin Pass. Both passes cost $19.99 each.

That’s not all, because this summer is also bringing a special collaboration with the popular casual deep sea exploration adventure management title Dave the Diver. The event will feature Dave and Bancho from Dave the Diver along with the naval squad Aegis.

Like the premise of Dave the Diver, there will be a collaboration minigame in 2D platform view where you explore the sea to collect fish and other creatures to supply Dave’s sushi shop.

Naturally, this collaboration will also bring in new costumes for the Nikkes – Mast and Anchor of the Aegis Squad will be able to don the swim gear of Dave the Diver.

Mast’s very tight-fitted diving suit will be a reward in the Divers Pass, while Anchor’s swimwear will be earnable for free by playing the minigame.

While many were hoping for the crossover collaboration with developer SHIFT UP’s own Stellar Blade, which was confirmed in an interview with the game’s director, Dave the Diver’s surprise collab does fit the summer vibe.

That said, fans shouldn’t feel disappointed for long as in the livestream, more collaborations were teased and confirmed to be coming in future updates. Hopefully, we get to see EVE in the world of Goddess of Victory: NIKKE soon.

Next, there will be a popularity poll for players to vote for a set of costumes for Red Hood, who won the Doki Doki NIKKE Global Popularity Poll II, that will be given as a gift to players.

There are three different styles of outfits to vote for and fans can do so by visiting the event webpage from now until July 3, 2024. Voting and sharing on social media will grant you 1 Recruit Voucher.

Lastly, the livestream concluded by revealing plans for the game, including SHIFT UP attending the Anime Expo, which will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center, USA, from July 4 to July 7, 2024.

There will also be a summer-themed pop-up store happening at B1, Hyundai Seoul, South Korea, from July 27 until August 8, 2024.

A concert is also planned to arrive in the future for fans who can’t get enough of the wonderful soundtrack in Goddess of Victory: Nikke. Before ending the broadcast, the winners of the Blooming Spring Creator Event were revealed, featuring fan art, cosplay, game strategy, and video.
