Wild Arms, the Western-themed RPG was first released for the PlayStation back in 1996. Then in December 2016, Sony Interactive Entertainment’s subsidiary company, ForwardWorks, announced that they will be reviving the title for smartphones! This time, the game will be titled Wild Arms: Million Memories and it will be launched in Japan for both iOS and Android this year.
Wild Arms: Million Memories will be a completely new entry from the original Wild Arms series. The game will be set in a world that combines the Wild West with some fantasy elements. With Akifumi Kaneko, the original game designer overseeing the project. The game will feature characters that was previously seen in the series.
If you check out their official site, you can already listen to the theme song for Wild Arms: Million Memories titled “Million Memories” sung by Rin Akatsuki. The album will be released by Sony Music Records on 16th May. With the date set for the album, it’s also possible that the game will also be released along those dates. ForwardWorks has yet to also release any information for Arc The Lad reboot for the mobile.
