HoYoverse, the studio behind the highly popular Honkai: Star Rail and Genshin Impact, has opened hiring recruitment for Game Concept Artist for its Singapore branch.

Announced via an X post, HoYoverse Singapore is seeking a Game Concept Artist who will be responsible for character and monster designs in HoYoverse titles

In the announcement, fresh graduates or those who will be graduating between 2023 and 2025 are also welcome to apply.

To apply, you can do so through the official job posting page, where various responsibilities for this position are listed.

For one, as a Game Concept Artist, you would have to “independently create high-quality deliverables adhering to our unique art style” as well as “develop character or monster designs, and create their three-view drawings, ensuring adherence to specific style guidelines and R&D standards.”

Aside from that, you will contribute to various tasks including crafting CG art for games, generating art assets like IP promotion materials, producing illustrations, icons, and creative works like character Tachie, comic strips, Yonkoma manga, and character chibis.

You would need to be proficient in popular art software such as Adobe Photoshop, PaintTool SAI, or Clip Studio Paint, and also have a solid foundation in art with a keen eye for aesthetics, including a deep understanding of graphics, color schemes, lighting, shadow, and three-dimensional composition.
