Mineski, a professional eSports team from South East Asia, has emerged as the grand champions for the DoTA 2 Asian Championships 2018 (DAC) in Shanghai Oriental Sports Center in Shanghai, China! Being the first SEA team to win a Major, they’re taking home a whopping US$370,000 (RM 1.43 million) after they defeated China’s LGD Gaming in an intense grand final match.
The team made up of two Malaysians namely Chai Yee Fung aka Mushi and Kam Boon Seng aka Moon, along with their teammates Daryl Koh aka iceiceice from Singapore, Anucha Jirawong aka Jabz from Thailand and Michael Ross Jr. aka ninjaboogie from the Philippines.

Based on records, Mushi has already earned more than RM 3.5 million from tournaments and has become a role model for many eSports fans. With AirAsia being a partner and special sponsor to the team, Mineski has garnered even more fame from their recent championship. Their recent win at the DAC 2018 has put them back on the line to run for The International DoTA 2 qualification that will be held at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada, on 20th August.
