Much like the other Resident Evil titles that have been released on Apple devices, the game will only be compatible with iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and every iPad and Mac with the M1 chip or later.
In addition to the seventh entry, Capcom also announced that Resident Evil 2 is also currently in development with no confirmed release window, though they did not specify which one.
Based on all its previous releases on Apple devices, Capcom likely meant the 2019 remake rather than the PlayStation classic.
The pre-orders of the game are currently live on the Apple App Store, and note that save data cannot be uploaded and downloaded between MacOS and iOS devices. Furthermore, the Apple App Store also revealed that Resident Evil 7 biohazard will take up approximately 31GB.
Following the “Play Before You Buy” format, players will be able to download and start a set early portion of the game for free before accessing the full game with an in-app purchase.
