In celebration of Spyro‘s 20th anniversary, Activision Publishing has officially announced that they are bringing back the iconic purple dragon to the console platform! Titled Spyro Reignited Trilogy, the collection will be featuring the remastered version of the 3 original Spyro games – Spyro the Dragon (1998), Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage! (1999) and Spyro: Year of the Dragon (2000).
Featuring the fun and nostalgic gameplay, Spyro Reignited Trilogy comes with tons of content that fans would probably remember, including the over 100 levels, Spyro’s gang of zany dragons and other goofballs (such as Sparx the Dragonfly, Agent 9 and Sgt. Byrd) and more. Since it is remastered versions, upgraded graphics and controls will be included as well.
The Spyro Reignited Trilogy will launch on 21 September and it is now available for pre-order via major retailers at 39.99 USD (about RM154). For more information, you can visit their official site or Twitter.
