The open-world dress-up adventure game Infinity Nikki will be heading to PlayStation 5 (PS5) with a beta test.
During today’s State of Play presentation, developer Infold Games revealed that Infinity Nikki will be having a PS5 beta test planned for Q3 2024.
For those who are unfamiliar with the Nikki series, it is a collection of dress-up games that has been ongoing for 12 years.
Infinity Nikki is the fifth installment and will be the first game in the series to feature open world gameplay.
The setting will be once again in Miraland, but this time it’s one from an alternate timeline.
Protagonist Nikki will travel with her companion Momo across this Miraland’s various nations, each with their own unique culture and history.
According to a PlayStation Blog post, Nikki will be able to switch between outfits to utilize different abilities to traverse the world, defeat enemies, or bypass obstacles.
The game will also feature various other activities, such as fishing, catching bugs, collecting wool from sheep, and so on, with each of them giving materials for Nikki to craft new outfits.
Aside from the PS5, the game will also be available on PlayStation 4, PC, iOS, and Android devices as announced previously.
