As part of the PlayStation State of Play, Marvel Rivals, which was only previously announced for PC, is revealed to be coming to both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
In addition to conforming console releases, Marvel Rivals will also be having a closed beta in July 2024, with no exact date unveiled yet.
The new high-octane trailer also revealed that the beefy symbiote anti-hero Venom will be joining the fray with its amorphous gooey attacks.
Another newcomer to the roster is Adam Warlock, the extremely powerful golden cosmic artificial being who was portrayed by Will Poulter in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
Marvel Rivals is an upcoming free-to-play third-person hero shooter to pits Marvel’s greatest heroes and villains against each other in an all-out brawl.
Developed by NetEase Games, the premise of its story revolves around Galactus’ daughter Galacta overseeing the converging timelines of Marvel’s multiverses.
The game features not only the iconic heroes and villains but also their variants from different multiverses, such as Peni Parker alongside Spider-Man.
Some lesser-known characters like Luna Snow are also getting love in Marvel Rivals.
