Following rumors, God of War Ragnarok will be officially making its way onto PC as confirmed during the most recent PlayStation State of Play.
As announced, God of War Ragnarok is set to launch for PC on September 19th, 2024.
This PC port is being handled by Jetpack Interactive, the team that also worked on the PC port of 2018’s God of War.
The PC version will include the free dungeon-crawling roguelite mode Valhalla DLC at launch, and pre-purchasing the game will yield you the Kratos Risen Snow Armor and Atreus Risen Snow Tunic in-game cosmetic reward.
Furthermore, the trailer promises that the PC version will get unlocked frame rate along with upscaling and frame generation technology implementation, namely NVIDIA DLSS 3.7, AMD FSR 3.1, and Intel XeSS 1.3.
In our 9/10 review of God of War Ragnarok, we said “On the surface, it might look like the same game but God of War Ragnarok is truly a worthy sequel that expands on God of War (2018) in almost every way. The story presents a fitting climax to the journey of Kratos and Atreus which will keep you gripped to the end, complete with the over-the-top god fights fans have come to love from the series.”
