The First Descendant to Reveal Release Date Next Week

NEXON has announced that it will reveal the release date for its third-person sci-fi co-op shooter The First Descendant next week.

As announced, the release date of The First Descendant is set to be revealed on June 7th, 2024, with a new trailer released to celebrate the announcement.

The First Descendant is an upcoming free-to-play sci-fi looter shooter from NEXON, powered by Unreal Engine 5.

It is set to release for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows PC via Steam.

In the shooter title, you played as the titular Descendant, a cast of unique characters armed with distinct abilities as you control them to defend the planet from alien invaders called Colossi.

Players can equip their character with 3 guns, 4 extra items, and different sub-weapons. There will also be special items that can boost a character’s stats, improve their guns, or give them new abilities.

Furthermore, players can team up with their friends for boss battles, and as a looter shooter, you, of course, can collect a variety of gear by completing missions.

The game promises to have unique skill sets, free movements, and chain actions through Grappling Hooks, and colorful firearms.

NEXON also plans to add various customizable elements such as skins for each character to support character decoration.
