As typical of mobile gacha titles, the game has its own PC launcher rather than publishing on a digital storefront. For those who want to play on a PC, the developers have released a handy step-by-step guide on the installation process.
The mobile release has achieved the final milestone of 1 million pre-registration, granting players the SSR unit Elic MacDowell as a reward. Previously, the game had already launched for mobile devices in Japan in December 2023.
For the uninitiated, this game will take place between the events of Trails of Cold Steel II and Trails of Cold Steel III, and it’s based on an anime series of the same name.
The story tells the conflict between the Erebonian Empire and the North Ambria State, also known as the Northern War.
For fans of the series, not only would you be able to recruit characters from The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel – Northern War, but the game will also feature iconic characters from across The Legend of Heroes franchise.
