As announced, LINE Rangers will be having a crossover collaboration event with Digimon Adventure on May 31, 2024. The event is set to start immediately after the maintenance.
As of writing, the event has only been announced on the Japanese social media of LINE Rangers, thus it is still unconfirmed if other regions will be receiving the collaboration event.
Counting down to the event, the developers have been teasing what to expect on social media including what looks to be a duck character in an Agumon suit.
Additionally, there are also pictures of several characters being shared on social media, including Yamato Ishida alongside Gabumon, and Takeru Takaishi alongside Patamon.
This year, Digimon Adventure, the first anime series of the franchise that was first released in 1999, will be celebrating its 25th anniversary.
The original series started as a film of the same name before beginning production 1.5 months later. It was released with great success and a sequel was quickly greenlit and aired in 2000.
For the series’ 15th anniversary, the six-part film series Digimon Adventure tri. was released. In 2020, Digimon Adventure received a reboot under the same title, with Fuji TV now handling production instead of Toei Animation.
