Oshi no Ko has has announced the release date for the second season of the anime with the release of a trailer for Season 2.
According to the YouTube trailer information, the second season of the anime adaptation will begin broadcasting on the 3rd of July, 2024.
The opening theme song is called “Fatale” and will be performed bye GEMN.
This season will cover the 2.5D stage play arc from chapter 41 to chapter 66 of the manga, where the main cast will be involved in the rehearsals and performance of a stage adaptation of “Tokyo Blade”, an in-universe manga.
Most of the original staff from the first season of the anime will also return to work on the second season, with Doga Kobo as the producing studio and Daisuke Hiramaki, Chao Nekotomi and Kuniyasu Nishina as the directors of the season.
Previously, Season 2 of Oshi no Ko was confirmed for production last year on 28 June 2023 following the release of episode 11 of the first season, with its own separate announcement trailer.
