Genshin Impact To Raise Original Resin Cap and Optimize Artifact Custom Configurations

Developer and publisher HoYoverse has announced that they will increase the original resin cap in Genshin Impact from 160 to 200 in the upcoming 4.7 version update.

In a developer discussion post made on HoYoLAB, the developers behind Genshin Impact have announced that based on player feedback, they will be increasing the original resin cap from 160 to 200, equivalent to one additional condensed resin, or an extra domain run.

Additionally, they will be adding a new “Recommended Stats” function to the artifact Fast Equip system. When this option is selected, recommended artifacts will automatically be equipped on the character based on data from active players in the game.

The inventory limit for various enhancement materials will also be increased in the next update. Players in version 4.7 will be able to carry up to 99,999 Weapon Enhancement Ores compared to the current 9,999, while the limit for cooking Ingredients will be raised from 2,000 to 9,999.

Forging Ores, Character EXP Materials and Artifact Enhancement Materials will also receive an increased inventory limit, although the announcement does not mention the exact number.

For players with a larger social network (or are hesitant to delete their old friends from the list), the limit of Friends you can have at a time will be raised to 100.
