In a surprise tease, the iconic mecha Mobile Suit Gundam has been announced to be making its way into Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone.
As spotted by news media Gamer Santai, publisher Activision has taken to X for a tease on the upcoming crossover collaboration as they gear up to launch Season 4 of Call of Duty later this month.

The X post revealed that the upcoming collaboration is with none other than Mobile Suit Gundam, showcasing a nearly 10-second-long teaser.
The teaser does not include many details but showcases the shadow of the iconic RX-78-2 Gundam projecting on a neon-decorated building in Japan.
There is no telling what Activision is cooking up for the crossover but as a tradition of Call of Duty collabs, players would likely get special operator and weapon skins based on the Gundam franchise.
Perhaps, operators based on the various pilots in the Gundam series such as Amuro Ray, as after all, they do wear military uniforms and would fit into the world of Call of Duty.
That said, we would have to wait and see as Activision ramps up marketing for the next season in the coming weeks.
Season 4 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone is scheduled to start on May 29, 2024.
