Elder Dragons, the breathing forces of nature in Capcom’s hunting series are making their way into Monster Hunter Now with a new roadmap update being revealed.
Alongside the Leviathans, which was teased 2 months ago, this summer will also see an Elder Dragon being introduced for the first time in Monster Hunter Now.
In the new roadmap, an Elder Dragon is listed to arrive in the location-based AR game in June 2024, with a silhouette that most certainly teases Velkhana, the Iceborne Wyvern and the Lord of Ice.
Introduced as the flagship of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion, Velkhana is a highly agile and evasive Elder Dragon known for its control over ice and frigid wind.
Whether it is Velkhana or another Elder Dragon, the addition of this classification of monsters will certainly add a lot to the exciting experience as they are known to be the greatest challenge in the end game of any Monster Hunter title.
Of course, Elder Dragon is not the only monster type to be excited about as the roadmap did specified that “even more monsters” are coming in June, marking an exciting update for fans.
Monsters aside, during the summer, a new weapon type will also be introduced, and as of now, Hunting Horn, Switch Axe, Insect Glaive, and Heavy Bowgun are the only ones out of the 14 weapon types in the series not being added into Monster Hunter Now yet.
