Dead by Daylight Co-op Roguelike Spin-off “What the Fog” Released

Developer Behaviour Interactive have announced the release of What the Fog, a two-person cooperative roguelite game set in the world of Dead by Daylight.

The game is available for PC via Steam for RM13.99 (or $4.99 USD). The company is also giving away two million copies for free to users who sign into or create a Behaviour Account.

In What the Fog, players join the Dead by Daylight characters Dwight, Claudette, or Feng Min as they are swallowed by a cursed board game and must fight their way back to the real world. Each character has their own unique skills which can be used to help each other escape the various monsters.

What the Fog promises to be an accessible rougelite for players of all skill levels, with 8 difficulty options, an innovative support mechanic to assist downed teammates, and a single-player mode for those without friends to play with. The game places emphasis on the fun of quick, exciting runs across increasingly wild, randomly generated levels with 37 unique Runes to keep every playthrough fresh and chaotic.

For now, What the Fog will remain a PC exclusive game with no plans for any console ports.
