ZTE | nubia Unveils 2nd Generation Flagship Device nubia Neo 2 5G

ZTE | nubia has announced its latest 2nd generation flagship device focused on light gaming experiences, the nubia Neo 2 5G.

As the 2nd generation phone for the nubia Neo 5G series, the new phone entry is designed to cater to the needs of both casual and avid gamers.

Shouder Triggers

New to the nubia Neo series, the nubia Neo 2 5G is now further focused on gaming experience by implementing shoulder triggers for the phone.

The Dual Gaming Shoulder Triggers are positioned ergonomically for ways access, players can define their own triggers and assign specific commands to their comfort level.

Display

For display, the screen and notch display have been upgraded with a  6.72″ FHD+ screen and Hole notch display with 2400×1080 high resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate.

In addition, the nubia Neo 2 5G introduces a new Live Island Interactive feature, which allows the device to display a variety of notifications, real-time activities and reminders to enhance productivity and gaming experience.

Audio

In terms of audio, the phone features Dual Stereo Speakers with DTS: X Ultra that allows sound to come from both sides.

Furthermore, the speaker positioning for the phone has been improved, changing from being at the bottom of the phone to the upper edge, which now prevents the player’s hands from blocking them and affecting the audio.

Specs

nubia Neo 2 5G features an upgraded battery capacity to 6000 mAh with 33W fast charging, the phone also integrates an AI power-saving engine that freezes unused background apps to minimize power consumption.

For memory, the phone has dynamic memory configurations of up to 20GB (8+12GB) and a 256GB ROM, allowing for less lag when switching between multiple apps.

Lastly, Gaming Space 2.0 is also introduced with the new phone, allowing players to customize their gaming experiences. For example, the new Game Shorthand that comes with the feature allows players to check their notes without needing to cut out of the game.

Availability and Pricing

The nubia Neo 2 5G will be available for pre-order from 23rd April 2024 to 27th April 2024, pre-orders will also come with free ZTE Bluetooth earphones worth RM159. Ready stocks will be available from 28th April 2024 onwards.

There will be three colors available for purchase, those being Sunfire Yellow, Frost Silver, and Storm Gray, pre-orders will be available on the official nubia Redmagic MY Shopee.
