Following a teaser, Koei Tecmo has revealed the full title for the second DLC of Fate/Samurai Remnant as well as story details.
Previously, the title was slightly censored but now the second DLC of Fate/Samurai Remnant goes by the name “Record’s Fragment: Yagyu Sword Chronicles”.
Alongside the full title reveal, the official website also unveiled what the story will be for the Fate/Samurai Remnant DLC, which reads:
As the magic power of the Ritual swirls around Edo, strange happenings occur. Tsujigiri, a murderer of tremendous skill. A mysterious deadly blade.
Miyamoto Iori and Saber, who are investigating the situation at the behest of Sukenoshin, are confronted by a swordsman of superior skills. A Servant.
Is this the rumored Tsujigiri?
Just as they wonder, the Servant suddenly lowers his sword to introduce himself.“…I am Yagyu Munenori.
A figment of human history, and now a swordsman with no master.”A newly arrived Rogue Saber, a master of swordsmanship, whose True Name is Yagyu Tajima-no-Kami Munenori.
What is his purpose? And what is his connection to Tsujigiri? Accompanied by the new Servant, Iori and Saber traverse the blood-soaked streets of Edo.
Aside from the introduction of Yagyu Munenori as a Servant character, not many details have been shared yet regarding the DLC content, as the Overview and Character segment on the website are yet to be updated.
The DLC is slated to launch on 18 April 2024 and to play “Record’s Fragment: Yagyu Sword Chronicles”, players are required to have reached Chapter 3 “My Mind Bides on the Battlefield” in the base game first.
Once players are able to move freely on the Edo map, they can then select the DLC on the map to begin playing.
