Arknights Episode 13 ‘The Whirlpool That is Passion’ Overview

It’s time to return to Victoria as details for the global release of Episode 13 for Arknights titled ‘The Whirlpool That is Passion’ has been unveiled.

The next episode of the main story will be released on 16 April 2024 and details regarding the update have been unveiled, including new characters, new skins, and a new game function.

New Operators

4 new operators will be permanently added to the game, them being;

Delphine (5-star Mystic Caster)

Delphine and her tokens can be obtained for free through clearing stages in Episode 13 and unlocking the contents of The Happy Windermere Family.

Hoederer (6-Star Crusher Guard)

Verdant (4-Star Dollkeeper Specialist)

Vendela (5-Star Incantation Medic)

Hoederer, Verdant and Vendela can be obtained from the Limited-time Headhunting banner with an increased drop rate from 16 April to 30 April 2024.

Events

To commemorate the new chapter release, the following events will also be running from 16 April to 30 April 2024.

The Whirlpool that is Passion Encourage Event

Throughout the event period, all stages from Episode 13 will refund all Sanity used if you fail to clear the stage regardless of number of attempts.

Limited-time Tactical Support Event – Phase II

During the event, players can obtain rewards by clearing main story and supply stages to obtain Milestone Fragments and rewards. Furthermore, all Operators used in these stages will earn more Trust after meeting certain requirements. Hoederer, Vendela, Delphine, and Verdant can receive additional Trust boosts, with both effects stacking on each other.

New Furniture Set

During the event period, the Mercenaries’ Hideout furniture set will be available for a limited time in the Furniture Store.

Home Screen UI Change

From 16 April 2024, Doctors who reach level 50 will unlock the ability to change the UI of the home screen. Additionally, Doctors at level 50 will also unlock the new “Night” UI for free.
