Evil God Korone, the indie horror game is now available on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
First released on Steam in November 2021, Evil God Korone is now available on the PlayStation Store and Nintendo eShop for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch respectively for USD 4.50.
The game is developed by ImCyan, an indie game creator who has worked on multiple horror titles, with the TSUGUNOHI series being his most well-known work.
In TSUGUNOHI, the story usually revolves around horror slowly creeping into the everyday life of the characters, with different scares and stories for each game, players will walk to the left of the screen every day as things continue to get progressively scarier.
Each entry in the TSUGUNOHI series focuses on a different incident so-called ‘hexed days’ that are experienced by either one person or a group of people.
As an official collaboration, Evil God Korone features Inugami Korone as the evil goddess who invaded TSUGUNOHI. While the game mechanically plays the same as other games in the series, the game features a lot more elements of the Vtuber, with distinct illustrations of her decorating the streets.
This is not the first time ImCyan has featured Vtubers in his games, as in 2021, another title ‘TSUGUNOHI -Ai’s Silent Cries’ has also featured Kizuna Ai as its protagonist.
Inugami Korone, the Vtuber featured in Evil God Korone, is a member of the Vtuber group Hololive that first debuted in April 2019 under Hololive GAMERS, a unit that mainly focuses on live-streaming games.
