Announced today, Acer is debuting the new Nitro 14 and Nitro 16 gaming laptops, powered by AMD Ryzen 8040 Series processors and equipped up to NVIDIA® GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPUs.
Harnessing the power of AI, both devices will feature Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0 and Acer PurifiedView, providing clarity and blocking out external noises whether in call or streaming.
Furthermore, the laptops will also come with Microsoft Copilot with a dedicated hotkey as well as one month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
To take command of the device performances and personalization, there is also a dedicated key to launch Nitro Sesne, directing users to a control center and library of AI functions through the Experience Zone.
Nitro 14
The new Acer Nitro 14 (AN14-41) merges a sleek design with powerful components in a compact form factor, armed with up to an AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS processor and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU with DLSS 3.5 technology.
Featuring a 14-inch WQXGA (2560×1600) display with 120 Hz refresh rate, 9 ms response time, and sRGB 100% gamut support, expect great HDR capable visual quality.
What’s more, the laptop has a dual-fan system with Vortex Flow that consistently draws air into the device from both the top and bottom sides of the fans, creating an aerodynamic flow for enhanced cooling for the CPU, GPU, and other crucial hardware.
For I/O ports, the laptop comes with full-function USB 4 and USB 3.2 Type C ports, dual Type-A ports (one with offline charging), HDMI 2.1, and a microSD card reader.
On the audio front, the laptop is packed with DTS:X® Ultra Audio and the aforementioned Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0 with a three-microphone setup to isolate users’ voices from unwanted background noises.
Nitro 16
On the other hand, the Nitro 16 (AN16-43) features up to AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS processor and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU.
Its 16-inch WQXGA (2560×1600) display has a 500 nits brightness, 165 Hz refresh rate, and 3 ms response time.
As mentioned previously, the Nitro 16 comes with Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0 and Acer PurifiedView for better videoconferencing, eliminating unwanted noises and granting users automatic framing abilities.
The Nitro 16’s cooling is optimized through a streamlined thermal design, featuring a dual-fan, quad-intake, and quad-exhaust system that draws in and expels air simultaneously.
At the same time, the liquid metal thermal grease is added for better heat transfer as it improve thermal connection between components.
For connectivity and ports, the laptop comes with Wi-Fi 6E, dual USB Type C, three USB Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1, and a microSD card slot.
