64 year old Malaysian, Radhuan Othman claims to make up to RM6000 a month through streaming PUBG Mobile on TikTok.
In an interview with Harian Metro, the grandfather of 16 says he has been playing PUBG Mobile since 6 years ago as he was fascinated in exploring technological and video game innovations.
Preferring to be called Pak Dhuan, he says he was previously involved in the craftsmanship industry but started to become more involved in playing video games even before the COVID-19 pandemic. He fully transitioned into gaming seriously during the COVID-19 lockdowns.
After livestreaming his gameplay on TikTok, he got the idea to turn his hobby into a source of additional income.
The 64 year old Malaysian says that he now makes up to RM6000 a month through livestreaming PUBG Mobile alone, some of which he has used to upgrade his gaming setup.
In his own words, Pak Dhuan says that he only plays around 3 to 4 hours every day from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., and reserves the rest of the day for hanging out with his family.
Pak Dhuan has previously been nominated as one of the “Top 10 Ellando Agency TikTok Live Performance Appreciation Awards 22/23”.
Although admitting to be an avid gamer, he denies playing the game to the point of addiction as his main objective remains to make an honest living from entertaining people.
