After receiving reports of players’ progress lost, Respawn Entertainment has taken down the Apex Legends servers to hotfix the issue.
Uhh, @Respawn @PlayApex @ea, is this some sort of late april fools day joke? A new update came to Apex Legends on 3rd April 2024. But not long after the update, players started to report that they’d loss account progress following the update.
Soon after, Respawn Entertainment confirmed that they have received reports regarding progress lost for the players, and will be looking into it immediately.

As of writing, the Apex Legends servers have been fully restored, with the developers saying that they are working hard to restore progress for all affected players, and that the new Ranked Split will now be postponed until a later date.

Ever since Respawn Entertainment was hit with layoffs, the Apex Legends developers seem to be getting hit with one bad news after another, such as being forced to postpone the North American Finals, where a hacker gave the competitors hacks mid-match.
However, the dedication of Respawn Entertainment has to fixing problems is still worth commending, as the progress lost issue was quickly dealt with by the developer in under two days.
