Far Cry 5 launched for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC

The decades-long wait has finally ended! Today, the latest title of the popular Far Cry franchise – Far Cry 5 has been officially released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC! If you are new to Far Cry 5, it is an open world first-person shooter that set its story in America.

In the Hope County named Montana, the main villain – a preacher named Joseph Seed has established a militaristic doomsday cult called Eden’s Gate and violently took over of the county. You as a player will need to join forces with residents of Hope County to form the Resistance and arrest Joseph Seed.

There is also an Arcade mode included in Far Cry 5 that allows players to create new scenarios with assets from other titles in the series or other Ubisoft franchises such as Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag and Watch Dogs, for solo, co-op or competitive experiences. For those who purchased the season pass, you can get Far Cry 3 Classic Edition (the remastered version of Far Cry 3) at no extra cost too.
