Pre-registrations for Ride Kamens have opened on the Japanese App Store with new game screenshots and a new trailer released alongside the announcement.
Despite the planned simultaneous App Store and Google Play release, pre-registrations on Google Play are yet to be available.
A new trailer also shows off the Live2D animation of most of the main cast both in and out of their transformations as well as some CG art showing off their more charming sides, featuring the game’s opening song “Get Back!!” performed by utaite Amatsuki.
The Kamen Rider inspired mobile spinoff developed by Bandai Namco and Liber entertainment will feature up to 17 fully voiced and playable characters in what is officially described as a “training adventure game” which appears to be a combination of a character raising simulator and chibi auto battler.
Ride Kamens will have 14 fully voiced main story chapters upon launch. In addition, the game will also include individual character stories which are tied to cards obtainable from the gacha.
Depending on the player’s choices throughout these stories, the characters may accumulate emotions which can have effects on their transformations.
As of now, Ride Kamens will remain a Japan exclusive game as the pre-registrations are not available in other region, and there no plans at the moment for a global release.
Those interested in trying out the game themselves can pre-register on the Japanese App Store.
