ATLUS has announced a new release date for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, the newest title in the Shin Megami Tensei series.
The announcement came in an X/Twitter post, where the developers said that the release date is now scheduled to arrive on 14th June 2024, one week ahead of its original release date of 21st June 2024.

ATLUS has also reassured players who have already pre-ordered the game, saying that online orders will be automatically adjusted to the updated release date.
While there is no specific reason for the shift in release date, one could speculate that it could’ve been to avoid launching the game at the same time as the Expansion DLC for Elden Ring, which is scheduled to release on 21st June 2024.

With the new release date, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is now slated to release on the 14th of June, 2024, for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
