The battle goes on as we get our hands on the Aigis Edition of Persona 3 Reload, a premium package that is packed with shadows of mass destruction that are Persona goodies.
Persona 3 Reload is without a shadow of a doubt one of the best releases of 2024 – a wonderful remake that gave the original a graphical and system facelift that elevates excellence beyond. With us is the Persona 3 Reload Aigis Edition, and as the name implies, is a Collector’s package with everyone’s favorite android girl Aigis as the highlight.
Without further ado, let’s unseal the Persona 3 Reload Aigis Edition to uncover the shadows hidden within this beautiful package.
Diving in with a Reload
As with every unboxing, we start with the box and this lovely package comes with a fairly big box with a thin sleeve marked with the usual box poster art of Persona 3 Reload.
Once the sleeve is undressed, what lies within is a charming box displayed with some beautiful illustrations of the characters in the game with Aigis as the poster girl. There are some cool small touches scattered around some parts of the box like the little silhouettes of all the playable characters and their main Persona lined up together.
Opening the box, you will be immediately greeted with a physical copy of Persona 3 Reload as well as some wonderful items such as an art book and a soundtrack CD.
Starting with the soundtrack, this lovely CD comes in a fairly large disc case with the art of protagonist Makoto Yuki listening to some tracks on his earphones, quite fitting. The soundtrack has a list of 60 tracks for your ear-pleasing enjoyment and dance sessions.
Then we have the art book, which is on hardcover and comes with lots of eye-pleasing artwork relating to the game, including concept art and key illustrations of characters, locations, and more.
Aigis, Our Angel
Lastly, we have the main highlight of the package that we have been alluding to earlier – a scale figure of Aigis! It is certainly nice to see Atlus starting to include figures in their Collector’s Editions and this figure takes up the majority of the package’s space. While as cool as it is, the Aigis figure, unfortunately, does not look as impressive, with some details and paint job feeling lacking. It is still a cool figure for display though, so all you Aigis fans would love it.
And that is everything found in the Persona 3 Reload Aigis Edition. Still on the fence about getting yourself a copy of Persona 3 Reload? In our 9/10 review of the game, we describe it as hitting “the mark on the right spots, providing improvements while staying true to the original”
Persona 3 Reload is now available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
