Haikyuu FLY HIGH Official Release Date in Japan Announced

KLab Games has officially announced the release date for their upcoming anime gacha game, Haikyuu: FLY HIGH in Japan.

Through an official X/Twitter post, the developers have revealed the release date trailer, which showcases some gameplay with our favorite characters from the series.

According to the trailer, the game will be released in Japan on March 28th, 2024.

Pre-registration for the game is still ongoing for iOS and Android on their official website, so interested players can still register to not miss out on the milestone rewards.

As of writing, the game has surpassed several of their pre-registration milestone goals, with their respective rewards being:

• 100K – 100K Coins, 5x Rare Gacha Ticket
• 300K – 20x Training Notes, Double Match Ticket
• 500K – 10000x EXP, 5x Rare Gacha Ticket
• 750K – 20x Energy Drink, 100K Coins

The last milestone for 1M players has yet to be passed, the rewards for that tier is 500x Diamonds and 10x Rare Gacha Ticket.

It’s worth noting that this is not the first anime gacha game based on the Haikyu!! franchise. In February 2023, another similar game, Haikyuu: Touch The Dream was also released for iOS and Android devices in Japan and South Korea, with its gameplay being identical to Haikyuu: FLY HIGH.

Judging from the special animations and 3D models, however, Haikyu: FLY HIGH seems promising at first glance, but only time will tell how it will compare with Haikyu!! Touch The Dream once the game does land in the hands of the players.
